UPDATE - Open Letter To All ASA SAT Owners,
Drivers, Sponsors & Fans
UPDATE - September 26, 2009

Our business model for 2010 calls for a reduced schedule, twelve races, at facilities that have shown a history of successfully drawing a strong fan base over the season.

Those markets also provide a larger pool of single event advertisers as they are surrounded by larger population bases.

Plans for television coverage are under discussion, as this remains the single most important point of differentiation we offer to our fans and racers.

Chase Elliott Makes History  As Youngest ASA SAT Winner
Chase Elliott has been no stranger to Victory Lane.  He spent quite some time there as an infant, in the arms of his father, legendary NASCAR driver Bill Elliott.  And since Chase has begun his own personal racing career, he’s found Victory Lane several times on his own, in everything from Go-Karts to Bandoleros to Legends Cars to Pro Late Models.  Now, the teenager can call himself an ASA winner, something his father was never able to do during his illustrious career.  click here for more

Kelley Leads "ASA SAT Championship Stretch" Standings
In an effort to help support the regulars with the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour, officials have introduced a new playoff system, named the "ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour Championship Stretch" for the 2009 tour.  After the first nine (9) races, the top-20 drivers will have their points reset, with the championship decided in the final six (6) events. The latest release of the Bonus Point standings shows two-time race winner Paul Kelley at the top of the list, followed by TJ Reaid, with Jason Hogan third.  click here explination and bonus points standings
