June 28, 2009 (Finish)- Paul Kelley has held off Russell Fleeman to win the RC/Moonpie 100. Casey Roderick and Max Gresham batttled it out the last 10 laps with Roderick 3rd and Gresham 4th. After an early spin, TJ Reaid battled his way back to a 5th place finish. We will have more from this race early in the week. Goodnight!

June 28, 2009 (Lap 75)- The Russell Fleeman and Paul Kelley continue to battle back and forth for the lead. Casey Roderick has moved back in to the 3rd postion by passing Hammons and Chase Elliot rounds out the top 5.
June 28, 2009 (Lap 47 )- Russell Fleeman and Paul Kelley have been engaged in a good battle trading the 1st and 2nd Position. Parker Hammons is 3rd and Casey Roderick has fell back to 4th. Chase Elliot has found his way into the 5th position.
June 28, 2009 (Lap 39)- Coming up on lap 40. Paul Kelley continues to lead but Russell Fleeman is closing fast. Casey Roderick, Parker Hammons, and Austin Hill round out the top 5. Chase Elliot runs 6th, Keeton Hanks 7th, Max Gresham 8th, Kevin Stephens 9th, and the 10th position is held by Tyler Millwood.

June 28, 2009 (5:40 p.m.)- Qualifying for the ASA SAT late models has just wrapped up and Paul Kelley set the pace with a lap of 13.844, barely beating out TJ Raeid by 14/100 of a second. Michael Pilla turned in a fast lap of 13.917 to grab the third spot. Florida driver Tim Russell nabbed the fourth spot while young Chase Elliot rounded out the top 5.

June 28, 2009 (3:45 p.m.)- The second and final round of practice is in the books. The field is pretty stacked up while the top 14 lap times were seperated by only 3/10 of a second. The drivers are now going through pre-race tech followed by the drivers meeting. Qualifying for the ASA SAT late models will begin at 5:30 and we will be back then to post qualifying results.

June 28, 2009 (1:00 p.m.)- The first session is completed, with the USAR cars getting ready to hit the track now. After the second 30 minute session, red hot TJ Raeid has turned in fastest time. After a top 10 finish this Spring, series regular Jeff Choquette is looking for a stronger finish in his second trip to Lanier. The ASA SAT late models will hit the track for their final practice session in an hour.

June 27, 2009 (9:30 p.m.) – The ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour late models rolled into Lanier National Speedway Friday afternoon after a few weeks off. A field of 30 cars hit the track Friday afternoon to prepare for tommorrow nights race at the 3/8 mile oval. The locals at Lanier are always hard to beat , so many tour regulars turned as many laps possible Friday night in preparation to have a good run for Saturday's event. Below are the top ten times from each of the three runs.
