UPDATE - September 26, 2009

Our business model for 2010 calls for a reduced schedule, twelve races, at facilities that have shown a history of successfully drawing a strong fan base over the season.

Those markets also provide a larger pool of single event advertisers as they are surrounded by larger population bases.

Plans for television coverage are under discussion, as this remains the single most important point of differentiation we offer to our fans and racers.

Our web site will be redesigned to provide ongoing benefits and activities for race fans of all ages, including video footage from each race event.

Continue to check in as changes are implemented.

We will continue to communicate with race teams to complete obligations from the 2009 schedule.

For Immediate Release:

The Results Management Group, and Results Management Group Racing-parent company for the American Speed Association Southeast Asphalt Tour-announce the cancellation of the balance of the 2009 scheduled race events.

We regret to inform those involved with our series that races scheduled for the remainder of 2009 have been canceled, and will not be rescheduled.

Seeing no prospects for an improved revenue stream that will allow operations to continue under the current business operating model, closing is the only viable alternative.

We remain confident that short track racing is a good product for current economic conditions, with the correct balance of promotion, affordable ticket prices for the fans, reasonable costs to competitors, and more emphasis on the many positive aspects of the sport from the media.

The company and series greatly appreciate the efforts and support of race fans, staff, television production partners and affiliates, sponsors, race facilities, and competitors in producing the high quality race events that have been held over the past two seasons.
